This was the first time to watch our new Sunday senior side in action this season and it didnt disappoint .

It was the usual sunday start with the management on phones trying rally missing players but it started with 11 men against a young side Desford lost to the week before in a cup game 2.1
Desford started on the front foot and battled for everything over the pitch , with a very lenient ref at times you could think it would boil over as the game a times got heated but Desford took the lead when Jamie Yorke fired a low drive into the bottom corner , Desford 2nd goal was a class goal as on the edge of the box four one touch passes a cheeky back heel and goal !, Blaby were looking for the long ball at most but the Desford back four were solid and the keeper did not really have a shot to worry about, Desford got a third .

Desford new it was going to be a hard second half and with no subs fitness was the worry .
tiredness started show as mistakes and giving the ball away cheaply put pressure on them , Jimmy attempted a back pass but was so short that the Blaby forward said thanks and put it away ,3.1 ,desford did still look threatening on the break as Blaby pushed and could have killed game off but it was not happening.
Blaby then got a dodgy penalty , Keeper Kai spilled a catch-able ball into the air as it came down there forward backed into him and fell to the floor , Peno ! 3.2
Blaby really pushed now as they sensed the boys were flagging but then from a corner the ball came out to edge of box and Jordan smashed home on the half volley ,4.2 , Blaby scored again and it was a nervous last 10 minutes , kai making a fine save to keep the lead.

final score 4.3 , was a good entertaining end to end game , Desford sre in the top division and on this showing will be competitive .
