U10s mix it with the best

The U10s can be very proud of their display this Sunday against the county cup champions. Week on week I am seeing improvements from the lads, better shape, greater efforts and good spirit. We aren't getting many breaks at the moment but our time will come!

Playing against a team with a small elite squad that trains 3 x per week was never going to be easy but at times we played some excellent football, to the extent we received much praise from the opposition coach.

We fielded 11 lads over the course of the game so the bench was lively and I won't write a report on each of the lads this week but everyone can take a great amount of credit from their performances.

We've had it a bit tough of late but we are slowly finding our feet again amongst the strongest teams in the county and it should act as a great confidence boost to the lads that we are competing really quite well
