semi-final heartbreak

For the club this was a game that would give everyone a huge lift in whats been a difficult season.
Desford started slowly but as the game went on showed we could come out on top and for most of the game look just as likely to progress to the final as our opponents but sadly that did not happen.
Tom Curtis- had little do all game!
Stuart Bevans - solid game did not put a foot wrong all game.
Harvey Webb- solid, passion,work rate never stopped.
Jack Spence- great partnership with Harvey .
Dan Goss- steady game got caught for goal.
Elli Benjamin - At times qaulity but needs to be more consistant.
Shaun Hunt- worked and worked tirelessly for the team.
Jamel Inman-disappointing never got in the game.
Adam Parry - 1st half showed his class but 2nd half was not the playmaker.
Jordan Small - cool finish for goal but never took control .
Stuart Iddisah- very quiet game , needed to see more.

After the game manager Hilroy was devestated by the loss and questioned the committment of certain players .
he said `you get to a semi-final and expect fire and passion but when players dont have that fire in them what can you do`

it was a disappointing end to our cup run and i as chairman was hurting like Hilroy and i agree for some it does not mean anything and change is needed !

M-O-M Harvey Webb - never stopped for the team was everywhere .
