Manager shocked and disappointed

After last weeks poor display and result against Rothley Hilroy thought it would only get better in a local derby against Earl Shilton .
Former Desford `A` Manager Craig Brown bought the Albion to Desford for a must win game as they were fighting for league survival and Desford needed to get back to winning ways and keep pushing up the league.
The game started at a frantic pace and Shilton took the early initiative forcing Oscar Webb to make fine saves at the other end too many times in the last third a Desford player would make the wrong choice of pass breaking the attack up.
then Desford took the lead after Ellis Benjamin crossed into the box and the Shilton keeper dropped the ball and Jamal was there to tap home.
Within Minutes Shilton equalised poor defending let a cross come into the box and former Desford Player Seb Dennis scored .
At Half time Hilroy told the players what he expected and get motivated he changed to a 4.4.2 but little success came from the change the constant long ball was being easily dealt with by Shilton in fact they got more confident creating chances and looking the stronger.
With minutes to go the game changed for the worst, Shilton got a deserved second with 15 minutes to go then in the last 10 minutes Desford Skipper Shaun Hunt was sent off for an off the ball incident the reaction to the card was unjustified and embarrassing for player and the club.
Hilroy said after the game that these players have to start progressing as players or get left behind that performance tonight was not good enough im just embarresed .
